Celebrating 15 Years of Spotify UK through user-generated fandom
the brief
To mark Spotify’s 15 year anniversary in the UK, we wanted to create a moment on social that allowed our fans to showcase their favourite moments and features of Spotify.
Working in partnership, OK COOL and TikTok launched a Branded Mission that encourages the TikTok community to create unique and authentic content that resonates with Spotify UK’s followers.
what we did
Branded Mission is an industry-first ad solution that enables advertisers to crowdsource authentic content from creators on TikTok, turn top-performing videos into ads, and improve brand affinity with media impressions.
This new form of two-way engagement between brands and creators enables the TikTok community to have a creative hand in the ads that are a part of a brand campaign and helps brands discover emerging creators broadly across TikTok.
Out of over 30, high-quality, user-generated assets, OK COOL worked with 6 hero creators, each of which appealed to a different, yet relevant, community, to deliver high-performing, targeted paid ad creative for Spotify UK.
