Instagram reached out to us with a brief to elevate their own brand merchandise.
We designed a capsule collection to coincide with their appearance at Vidcon, the largest convention of online Creators in the world.
The key piece was a long sleeve t-shirt with a back print bearing a post-modern interpretation of a mobile phone.
We used a combination of innovative print techniques, materials and references to make the design pop, including static from IGTV and a ‘lens’ rendered in 3M material that reflects the light of a camera, creating a flash effect when photographed. Lettering down the arms reads “MEETING PEOPLE” and ‘MAKING THINGS’ respectively, capturing the spirit of what it means to be an Instagram Creator.
The pieces were gifted to high-level influencers and celebrities. They are now deadstock.
