    • Senior Account Manager (USA) close
      AvailableInfo

OK COOL is a (very) creative studio for social media.

We are a full service creative agency for social, targeting Gen Z and young millennials. Nobody gets how to put brands into culture through platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Twitch and Web3 spaces like we do. Our clients include Nike, Spotify, Disney, Gucci, Heineken.

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our team to lead and manage the development and delivery of world-class social media campaigns with in-house teams and external partners.

You will be passionate about culture and its intersection with social media, as well as someone who is commercially astute, great with clients and managing teams and not afraid to take risks. You’ll have a certain curiosity and interest in staying ahead of the curve, spotting trends and understanding the role social media plays in consumers’ lives.

You will be a part of developing best-in-class social media and creator-led campaigns for an exciting collection of clients using your understanding of current cultural trends that engage consumers and tell stories while simultaneously hitting our clients’ KPIs

      Being brilliantly indispensable

You know what your clients and colleagues want and need to do their jobs well; and it’s often the little and important things which you boss (contact reports written, the correct attendees in a meeting, catering ordered in)

You make sure everyone knows what’s going on at all times. Even if it means saying it over and over

You proofread like a pro, spotting those little mistakes and getting them fixed before clients see them

Think something might be going wrong? You escalate accordingly to get things back on track

You know how to develop workable timing plans and project scopes. Whether or not you buddy up with a producer; you’re a go to person for delivery issues, because you take ultimate responsibility for successful development of your clients’ work through the Agency

You’re helpful and proactive at all times, making you indispensable to everyone you work with

      Being a strategic partner

We also value knowledge – whether it’s your own, something you’ve learnt about or something new you should be learning about.

You earn your place in clients’ and colleagues’ hearts by cultivating your curiosity and opinion

You make insightful suggestions about how our clients could do things differently or better

You read as much as you can about the industry and our clients, and love to share your knowledge with the people around you

You actively spend time on social platforms specifically TT – sharing trends, insights and cool things with the wider agency

You know there’s no such thing as a stupid question and aren’t scared to ask when you’re not sure about something

You proactively seek to broaden your knowledge of all our capabilities and services

      Being a relationship expert

You don’t need to be the next Oprah Winfrey. But some emotional intelligence, empathy and all-round niceness goes a long way.

You’re great listener and respectfully manage the sensitivities of people around you

You give your client empathy and support while you complete the task to the best of your abilities

You know what motivates your clients, both personally and professionally

You strike a balance between IRL client meetings vs. virtual and always follow up in writing with actions and next steps (reducing the no. of emails where possible)

You’re a key part of the team culture; your close team and your department

You develop good relationships with your peers in Client Leadership and in other departments

      Being a beacon of trust

A simple one really but it’s a big deal for us. You’re the sort of straight-down-the-line and stand-up sort of person we can always count on.

You deliver what you say you will, when you say you will

      You never let people down

You’re the MVP of your team – always offering to help others out

      You’re friendly and open

You manage expectations and you don’t over-promise

You interrogate client briefs and feedback, so you can accurately relay it to the team

You know when to escalate a problem to your manager, but you always have a solution for them in mind

      Creating outstanding creative work

Just because you’re not classed as a creative, doesn’t mean you don’t get to play a vitally important role. You (yes you) really are a critical part of this.

You know it all starts with the campaign objective, the audience insight and the brief. You obsess over the detail – does every part of the project ladder up to what we set out to do?

You seek the opinion of the experts around you

You challenge, but in a positive way

You provide descriptive feedback to Creatives, Designer and Copywriters

      You’re passionate about great ideas

You understand the channels you’re creating work in, so it’s perfectly crafted

You bring the right people together and work with partners and cross-departmental teams to create innovative solutions – on time and on budget

Understanding how the agency makes money (and how you contribute to that)

Commerce. It’s what makes the world go round. So as well as all the great advertising stuff, you’re a numbers person too. And you get why we’re in business.

      You’re proficient in using excel

You know how to scope client projects

      You price work correctly

You know how people’s time management affects profitability

You work smartly for the best possible outcome

You check reconciliations and run burn reports

      You actively pursue revenue opportunities

You seek and prioritize paid-for work

You don’t over-service and make sure delivery’s always in line with revenue

We attract a certain type of brand client — those that rely on us to connect them to culture through content and use our expert knowledge to help them navigate the new ecosystem of social media platforms.

      What’s in it for you:

Opportunity to work with an awesome, small team of experts in social

      Salary range: $80-120k + benefits

      25 days PTO per year

      Healthcare
